Why reading is important & Tips to love reading Arabic books for Children

Do your child(ren) love(s) to read? Let's ponder this question.

Reading is important for children as it helps in their:
✅ Language skills
✅ Cognitive abilities & imagination.
✅Enhances vocabulary,
✅ Improves comprehension
✅ Fosters critical thinking.

- Reading also exposes children to different cultures, ideas, and perspectives, broadening their horizons.

- To help children love reading Arabic books, let me share some tips:

- Create a reading-friendly environment: Set up a cozy reading corner with comfortable seating, good lighting, and a variety of Arabic books at their reading level.

- Lead by example: Let children see you reading Arabic books and express your enjoyment. This can inspire them to follow suit. Simple Arabic books will help you& your child(ren) !

- Choose age-appropriate books: Select books that align with their interests and reading level. Start with simpler books and gradually introduce more complex ones.

- Read aloud together: Reading aloud helps children develop a love for storytelling and improves their listening skills. Take turns reading and discuss the story as you go along.

- Join reading clubs or book clubs: Engage children in reading communities where they can interact with peers who share similar interests. This can enhance their reading experience.

Yes this is the best part I would like to share more!
I have been observing that children will only learn Arabic for the sake of school& exams. This is very sad.

Hence, I have intended to open up a programme; Arabic Book Explorers for Kids aged 7- 9 yrs old. This is the opportunity for them to explorer different digital Arabic books and best part is they will get to read my ebooks Penguin series !

Remember, every child is unique, so it's important to be patient and supportive throughout their reading journey. Encouraging a love for reading takes time and effort, but the benefits are invaluable. 🩷
